You can insert these properties of a variable inside an SMS, Webhook, Telegram or Email alert:

  • Device label: Unique identifier for devices to keep data organized.
  • Device name: Custom name assigned to the device.
  • Device properties: An arbitrary collection of key-value pairs. Mostly used to store meta data of the device.
  • Last value: Corresponds to the value which triggered the alert.
  • Trigger timestamp: Date and time at which the event was triggered.
  • Variable: JSON file containing the variable name, id and properties.
  • Variable id: Unique identifier automatically assigned to each variable.
  • Variable name: Custom name assigned to the variable. In most cases it matches the variable label if it's not otherwise changed.
  • Variable properties: An arbitrary collection of key-value pairs. Mostly used to store meta data of the variable.
  • Timestamp: Date and time of the value which triggered the event.
  • Context: An arbitrary collection of key-value pairs. Mostly used to store the latitude and longitude coordinates of GPS devices.
