 Learn how to simulate a dummy device as a Virtual Machine with dummy data in Ubidots to accelerate your application's design.

Testing a workflow or logic is paramount for quality assurance in real-life applications.

In this tutorial, we will demonstrate how to simulate Data via a dummy device and slider bars to visualize dummy data for your very own Quality Assurance Testing.

  1. Build a Dummy Device by creating a new device with one, two, three, etc variables you wish to test.

  2. Assign Controls Widget (slider) to simulate your Device's Dummy Data

  3. Assign a graph or other widget to visualize your Data

  4. Adjust the "slider(s)" to visualize your new Dummy Data
